May My Days Be A Temple Of Praise
Is a new hymn to a delicate, captivating melody, reminiscent of timeless Irish tunes. The lyrics draw widely from scripture ~ pondering how our ordinary days, the seasons of a stressed creation & the years of human history relate to eternity in the hands of the Lord, the Ancient of Days. This gentle worship song in 6/8 uses a congregational key (C) and tempo (93 bpm).
Artists
This particular version is a duet & collaboration between Australian devotional artist, Eliza King, and worship writer KDMusic (Dave Whitcroft), N.Ireland.
Purpose
How do we make all of our time an offering of worship? In asking that question, we realised the song needed to work as both a devotional for weekday individual listeners, and be memorable and clear enough for Sunday morning congregations. Beautiful isn't enough, the song is pastorally useful because it thoughtfully explores some underrepresented biblical themes.

What Do people Think?
“I can pray with a child as the sun bows his head, may my days be a temple of praise”
— Verse Three
What is there for my audience?
“I finished the tune at Murlough sand dunes, looking south to Slieve Donard mountain. It was a lonely February morning and then really oddly, a flight of Dunlins swooped within an inch of my face. It's marked in my mind as a special moment.” - Dave Whitcroft
