What Bible passage is Bright Sky Blues based on?

Jesus’ teaching on worry in the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 6:25-34: look at the birds of the air and the flowers of the field.

Is it suitable for children and all-age services?

Yes. It is cheerful and funny, and the lyric video is full of animals that kids love. It works well as a story song or a fun opener for a talk on worry.

Can a congregation sing it?

It works best as a ministry song or special item with a soloist, since the verses are wordy and witty. Lyrics & chords and stems are free to download here.
